Extra Connection

The connector that comes through the battery, I did not see where it is connected and the pictures do not show the connectors in enough detail.

Curious if you ever got a response to your question. My issue is different. I installed a salvaged battery that the salvage yard said works but when I installed the battery it shows "MAIN" and the "TRIANGLE" lights. I wanted to know what that meant. If it means a dead main battery that needs charging, Iwonder if that can be done by somehow starting the generator? Hope someone can help. Just following the guide isn't helping.
